"Beachcombing … childhood fun I will never forget"

I grew up in California during the 1950’s, and 60’s

My family lived in Half Moon Bay and other communities along the California coast.

So many of my childhood memories are focused around that eternal “Day at the Beach”

The Sun …. The Sand …. The windy days watching crashing surf ….

We would head out with the Dogs, a Picnic Basket, Beach Towels and our Hoodies !!

Our tool kit was buckets, baskets and shovels !!

We were so excited to see what the Sea would give us !!! 

If we were really lucky ... a winter storm with high waves would bring to the beach

“TREASURES”

To a child, collecting pretty Shells, Star Fish and beautiful Rocks would all come together as a true

“ADVENTURE”

As an adult I still enjoy beaches … but now … they are located all over the world.

Each beach is a joyous moment in itself ... and a personal travel treasure !!!

Many lovely lifetime memories are hidden in this necklace set ...

"Are Mermaids Real ??"

 One way or another ... it is a special adventure in creativity for me to design a necklace for a

“Legendary Woman” 

Have you ever wondered about the enchanting and mysterious creatures known as mermaids?

These mythical beings have captured the human imagination for centuries.

In folklore, mermaids are mythical creatures with the upper body of a human and the tail of a fish.

They are known for their beauty and enchanting voices, appearing in the legends of many cultures across the globe.  Often associated with both compassionate and magical actions, mermaids are said to lure sailors with their songs, protect waterways, or even foretell the future.  Their enduring charm lies in their embodiment of   the mystery, power and beauty of the sea.

This pearl and gold creation is focused to add the same mysterious qualities of the mermaid, the power and intelligence of the modern woman and the adventure of a special event … where nothing short of Amazing will do !!!
